NIT TECHNICAL DEGREES

The National Institute of Technology uses state of the art training techniques that apply technology to fields extending beyond computers and databases.  NIT operates ten campuses in three states including Michigan, Texas and California.

One of their unique programs incorporates technology into the industrial electrical field.   The course of study includes industrial controls and concepts; electronic and computer-based control technology; industrial automation control; computerized industrial control and programmable logic controllers.  There are not many programs that provide the training for line operations in a heavily automated industrial system, but NIT’s industrial electrical technology class does.

There is also a training program for electricians.  Many electricians learn their trade through long years of apprenticeship.  You can short-circuit some of that training with a certificate from NIT that you have completed their electrician class training.

NIT also has an associates’ degree that takes the skills learned in either the electrician training or the industrial electrical technology course of study and takes them to a higher level of education and proficiency.  You can plan your course of study to fit the type of employment you plan to pursue.  The program covers the design and installation of large power systems and includes such topics as trade mathematics and blueprint reading; along with business, marketing and management.

There is an excellent preparatory program titled Automotive Technology that prepares the student for work in the auto repair industry.  The instruction, curriculum, facility and equipment of this program meet the strict industry standards required for ASE Master Certified Automotive Training Program.  A potential employer won’t have to guess about your skills when you walk into the shop and inquire about a job posting.

National Institute of Technology
The history of National Institute of Technology (NIT) is diverse. Each campus was acquired individually; however, together they comprise a national school system providing students with a total educational experience. National Institute of Technology in Long Beach, California.
